My experience and expertise

I specialise in anxiety and stress management and provide stress management training workshops and courses in academic, health and organisational settings.

Over the years I’ve gained extensive experience helping people with psychological, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties including relationship issues, generalised anxiety disorder, panic attacks, social anxiety, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, perimenopause, managing difficult moods, grief and loss, eating disorders, addictions, low self-esteem, lack of assertiveness, managing life transitions/change, career/work related issues and general well-being.


I have 12 years of experience counselling students within university and higher education settings including developing and running a busy University counselling service. Having been through the education system myself, worked as a primary school teacher, college lecturer and as student counsellor, I feel I am in a privileged and valuable position to help students of all ages address and navigate successfully through the many challenges that being a student brings.
